Linuparus (Thenops) scyllariformis was a lobster which lived between 56.0 - 47.8 Ma. It is quite a rare species of lobster and can only be found rarely at a few sites. One of these sites is Steeple Bay, Essex. Finding a complete specimen is very rare as they often fracture due to the thin carapace thickness.
