Paracyathus brevis is one of the species of coral found in the London Clay. It has been found at Sheppey and Maylandsea. Coral tend to be one of the rarer finds in the London Clay, occassionly found in shingle on the beaches.

Paracyathus is a genus of hard corals in the family Caryophylliidae and is still alive today.
An example of a living member of the Paracyathus genus is Paracyathus stearnsii which is on the left and would have looked relatively similar to Paracyathus brevis.
